- Atmospheric aerosol formation, observations
- Activation, nano-Köhler
- Meteorology behind atmospheric aerosol formation
- Ion induced nucleation
- Nucleation experiments
- Instrumentation, cluster, ion and aerosol measurements
- Thermodynamics and condensation
- Atmospheric chemistry behind aerosol formation
- Coagulation, General Dynamic Equation (GDE)
- Cluster and ion dynamics
- Hygroscopic growth
- Global models
- Organic aerosol
- Biosphere-aerosol-cloud-climate interaction
- Processes in the biosphere related to atmospheric aerosol formation
A more detailed programme can be downloaded here.
Each day consists of two or three sets of 90 min lectures followed by 90
min exercises with lunch or dinner between the sets.
There will also be recreational events such as sauna and swimming as well as excursions to Siikaneva wetland conservation area, and to Helvetinkolu in Helvetinjärvi National Park.
