Doctoral degree in a topic related to atmospheric aerosol particles. Previous experience from studies of particle
hygroscopic properties using a Hygroscopic Tandem Differential Mobility Analyzer (HTDMA) are useful.
Short description:
The research deals with the hygroscopic properties of atmospheric aerosol particles using a Hygroscopic Tandem Differential
Mobility Analyzer (HTDMA). Measurements will be performed at a background station in southern Sweden and in urban environments.

Experimental studies of aerosol physical properties

Closed 31.10.2003 - NILU seeks aerosol researcher in a 20% position as a guest scientist associated
with the NCoE Unit
on Biosphere-aerosol-cloud-climate interactions starting 1 June 2003. We invite internationally well
established and recognised experts to apply and require expertise in aerosol evolution theory,
exposure, field experiments including monitoring of aerosols including physical and chemical
characterization. To strengthen the link between the NCoE Unit and the EMEP user community,
candidates from south European countries are particularly welcome to apply. Compensation
can be negotiated.
