EUCAARI in brief

European Integrated project on Aerosol, Cloud, Climate, and Air Quality Interactions (EUCAARI) is a sixth framework project aimed at answering many of the uncertainties in the aerosol-cloud-climate-air quality interactions. The main tasks of the project were to reduce the current uncertainty of the impact of aerosol particles on climate, quantify of the relationship between anthropogenic aerosol particles and regional air quality and quantify the side effects of European air quality directives on global and regional climate. The project lasted from 2007 to 2010 and had 47 partners from 32 countries in Europe and elsewhere.
