Ice-nucleating particle concentration and characteristics in the Hyytialia forestry observation centre

Ice-nucleating particles (INPs) play an important role in cloud properties and lifetimes. Here we present data from an ongoing field campaign in Hyytialia measuring the concentration and characteristics of INPs in the temperature range -10 - -30C. The campaign marks the first field use of the Portable Ice Nucleation Expansion chamber (PINE).
