Kumpula Radar Kumpula C-band weather radar (KUM)
(Vaisala Weather Radar prototype)
State of the art dual-polarization Doppler weather radar.

Kumpula C-Band radar was installed in December 2004 at the University of Helsinki Kumpula campus. It is located on the top of the Department of Physics building, 59 m above the sea level (30 m above ground level) .
