Welcome

The project focuses on cross-disciplinary aspects of carbon exchange by boreal ecosystems, at multitude of spatial and temporal scales.

The main aim is to bring together and strengthen the co-operation between experts on atmospheric sciences, micrometeorology, hydrobiology, ecophysiology, palaeoclimatology, and environmental sciences. The focus is on cross-disciplinary aspects of carbon exchange by boreal ecosystems, information on which is needed in analysis of the impact of climate change on different ecosystems. A combination of observational, experimental, reconstructive and modelling approaches will be used in the study.
