One exercise is given per week. You may either attend the exercise session on Wednesdays or return the solutions by Monday before to Theo Kurtén.
For passing the course participation is not required (20% exercises, 80% examn), but recommended. After the exercises session every week solutions
will be available at this site.

Exam:
The exam is scheduled for the 28.2.2006 (9-12 a.m.) at the same place as the lectures.
Note: You may bring (only) the following items to the exam:
-pens, pencils and erasers
-a calculator (recommended)
-an english-finnish-english or english-swedish-english dictionary (optional)
You will be provided with a data booklet containing all the necessary formulae.

You may either return your exercises (no later than 16.00 on Monday) to Theo Kurtén's mail locker on the 4th floor, or attend the exercise session and mark which questions you have answered. The language of the exercise session is English. You may return your exercises in Finnish, English or Swedish. Extra exam points (ca. 20% of the total) will be given for doing the exercises.

Some announcements:

Due to the holiday on 6.12., you may return the 5th exercises on Wednesday 7.12., no later than 10.00.

Due to the exam on 15.12., the 6th exercise session will be held on Tuesday 13.12, at 16-18, room E206. (The last lecture will be held the previous Thursday).

The 'second' chance examn (tentti) will be on the 15.2.2006 (12-16).
