From 2006 to 2011, I was a joint professor at the University of Helsinki and Finnish Meteorological Institute. I was also supported by the Vaisala Corporation. Officially, my title was Professor of Experimental Meteorology. I am now at the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom, and I am an associate at the School of Earth and Environment, University of Leeds. I am a US citizen, formerly at the Cooperative Institute for Mesoscale Meteorological Studies at the University of Oklahoma and the NOAA National Severe Storms Laboratory.
