A glory as seen from an airplane over Mid-Finland at 1985, on my way to the Astronomy weekend (held in Tampere in that year). The cloud in the picture is cumulus fractus which is, in my opinion, a very good glory cloud. Although glories are rare at ground level (at least in Finland), they are quite common above the clouds. I am under the impression that I have a better photo of this, but so far I've been unable to find it. With a little bit of faith, you can see the third ring also in this picture.
