We had the winter meeting of the network in a very familiar – and friendly – environment at Geocentrum I of Lund University on 1-3 December 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this year’s winter meeting we revived the old tradition of having a pedagogical workshop in connection to the network meeting. The topic of the workshop was use of Artificial Intelligence in teaching and learning. We heard interesting presentations about activities and practices at ABS network institutions and research ideas to work with in future.<\/p>\n\n\n

Then some exciting news: ABS will celebrate its first 20 years in 2026 in the form of a series of seminars and events, also embracing the wonderful collaborations we have built over the years. We will be present at the Arctic Science Summit Week<\/a> in Aarhus in late March 2026. We will also have a dedicated ABS session in UArctic Congress<\/a> in T\u00f3rshavn 26-29 May 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
