Special issue on “Remote Sensing of Changing Northern High Latitude Ecosystems” in the Remote Sensing

Remote Sensing has opened a special issue on  “Remote Sensing of Changing Northern High Latitude Ecosystems”. Researchers with focus on understanding the dynamic landscape processes in northern high latitude ecosystems using remote sensing information from multi-scale platforms, i.e. ground based, aircraft and various satellite platforms are welcomed to to submit the manuscript before 30 June 2014. Guest editors are: Santonu Goswami (ORNL), Daniel J. Hayes (ORNL), Guido Grosse (UAF), Benjamin Jones (USGS).

Belmont Forum and FACCE-JPI joint funding call opened

2013 International Opportunities Fund, the joint funding call between the Belmont Forum and the Joint Programming Initiative on Agriculture, Food Security and Climate Change (FACCE-JPI) opened on 17th July 2013. The current International Opportunities Fund is aimed at supporting research in the area of Food Security and Land Use Change.

iLEAPS-Korea was launched with a full support of KoFlux on 23 August 2013 during the international joint conference of 11th AsiaFlux international workshop, 3rd HESSS (Hydrology delivers Earth System Science to Society, and 14th annual meeting of KSAFM (Korean Society of Agricultural & Forest Meteorology).
