More than 300 participants from 30 different countries including several internationally renown scientists were gathered together for the three-day meeting. The PEEX program and\u00a0<a href=\"\/peexold\/..\/m\/globalsmear\/\">GlobalSMEAR<\/a>\u00a0initiative were introduced at the poster session by P\u00e4ivi Haapanala from INAR, University of Helsinki (<a href=\"\/peexold\/images\/PEEX-poster.pdf\">poster<\/a>). The 3rd ICOS Science Conference book of abstracts can be\u00a0found\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/conference.icos-ri.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/ICOS2018SC_Book_of_Abstracts.pdf\">here<\/a>\u00a0(including\u00a0<a href=\"\/peexold\/images\/Lappalainen_etal_ICOSconference2018.pdf\">PEEX\u2019s abstract<\/a>\u00a0by Lappalainen et al.). During the conference, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.icos-ri.eu\/icoscapes\">#ICOScapes<\/a>\u00a0Photo Exhibition, presenting gorgeous photographs of ICOS stations and activities, was launched. The exhibition will travel across Europe during 2018\u20132019.
