The conference was aimed to find new effective solutions for the transition to a &#8220;green economy&#8221; improving well-being and reduce environmental risks in cities. The <a href=\"\/peexold\/..\/globalsmear\/\">GlobalSMEAR<\/a> air quality concept could provide a state-of-the-art air quality monitoring solution for megacities like Moscow. GlobalSMEAR Initiative is currently supported by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.climate-kic.org\/\">ClimateKIC<\/a> and the SMEAR concept upscaling planning is going on.
