The lectures include the following topics: climate change, cryosphere, air quality, urban ecology, changing environment and infectious diseases in the Arctic regions; urban climate research in Arctic cities; economic and social problems of the urbanized regions of the Arctic.<br \/>\nPractical exercises at School include Linux-based applications and technologies for Earth Sciences; using Matlab, Python, R in Atmospheric Sciences; using thermal comfort applications for urbanized regions; and WRF modelling system for Arctic regions.
