Institute for Atmospheric and Earth System Research INAR, University of Helsinki, will organize Autumn School “Analysis of Atmosphere-Surface Interactions and Feedbacks” on 7-18 October 2024.<\/p>\n

The course is aimed for master’s students in atmospheric, biospheric and Earth system sciences. Also doctoral students can apply.
\nThe course is organized at Hyyti\u00e4l\u00e4 forest station, Finland, https:\/\/www.helsinki.fi\/en\/research-stations\/hyytiala-forest-station<\/p>\n

The main theme of the course is to analyse how increasing temperature is affecting ecosystem and atmospheric processes in springs compared to autumns in different environments. The course is implemented by working in small groups using programming tools (Matlab, Python, R) for statistical analyses and data visualization. Short introductory lectures on relevant topics will be given during the course.<\/p>\n
