The 2nd<\/sup> International Conference on \u201cClimate Service \u2013 Science and Education\u201d is planned for 16\u201318 April 2025 at the Odesa I.I. Mechnikov National University (ONU; Odesa, Ukraine) in a hybrid format. The Conference aims to bring together experts, researchers, and educators to discuss the latest advancements in climate services.<\/p>\n

Topics<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

(1) Issues of climate services in the areas: agriculture and food security, energy, transport, construction and architecture, city management, healthcare, and water management;<\/p>\n

(2) Education in climate services;<\/p>\n

(3) Climate risks and adaptation to climate change on regional and local levels.<\/p>\n

Round Tables<\/strong> will take place on 16 April 2025:<\/p>\n

13:00-15:00 pm of Ukrainian\/ Finnish time<\/p>\n

Round-table discussion on \u201cFostering Climate Change Awareness and Cultivating Green Skills Among Youth for a Sustainable Future<\/em>\u201d will be held in the framework of Erasmus+ project \u201cClimate University for Virtual Exchanges<\/em>\u201d (CLUVEX; https:\/\/www.atm.helsinki.fi\/cluvex<\/a>).<\/p>\n

15:30-17:30 pm of Ukrainian\/ Finnish time<\/p>\n

Round-table discussion on \u201cBridging the gap between provision climate services and needs of climate-dependent sectors\u201d<\/em> will be held in the framework of Erasmus+ project \u201cMultilevel Local, Nation- and Regionwide Education and Training in Climate Services, Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation<\/em>\u201d (ClimEd; http:\/\/climed.network<\/a>).<\/p>\n
