The Institute for Atmospheric and Earth System Research (INAR) of the University of Helsinki, will organize the Autumn School on \u201cAnalysis of Atmosphere-Surface Interactions and Feedbacks\u201d during 6-17 October 2025. This School is organized at the Hyyti\u00e4l\u00e4 Forest station (Finland;\u00a0https:\/\/www.helsinki.fi\/en\/research-stations\/hyytiala-forest-station<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The aim of the course is to study ecosystem-atmosphere interactions in relation to different environments (forest, peatland, and agricultural land) and their management, such as thinning. The course is implemented by working in small groups using programming tools (Matlab, Python, R) for statistical analyses and data visualization. Short introductory lectures on relevant topics will be given during the course.<\/p>\n

The course is aimed for master\u2019s and doctoral students in atmospheric, biospheric, and Earth system sciences.<\/p>\n

Deadline for application is 18th August 2025.<\/p>\n

Accepted applicants will be informed by 22nd August 2025.<\/p>\n
