The Winter School 2026 \u201cAdvanced Analysis of Atmosphere-Surface Interactions and Feedbacks\u201d will be organized by the Institute for Atmospheric and Earth System Research (INAR) of the University of Helsinki during 2-13 March 2026. The School is organized at the Tv\u00e4rminne Zoological Station (Hanko, Finland)\u00a0https:\/\/www.helsinki.fi\/en\/research-stations\/tvarminne-zoological-station<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The course is aimed for doctoral students in atmospheric, biospheric and Earth system sciences. Also advanced master\u2019s students can apply.
\nThe School theme is coastal ecosystem-atmosphere-meteorological interactions and feedbacks. During the school students will analyse data from Tv\u00e4rminne, Finland, and global aerosol and ion measurement sites.
\nThe School is implemented by working in small groups using programming tools (Matlab, Python, R) for statistical analyses and data visualization. Short introductory lectures on relevant topics will be given during the course.
\nDeadline for application is 8th of January 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n
