On March 14, UNAVEX hosted the 3rd Virtual Exchange (VE) Day under the theme “Ecological sustainability”. The plenary speech was delivered by Prof. Daniel Olago, University of Nairobi. Following his presentation, Prof. Olago answered students’ questions on ecological services. The event was chaired by Dr. Solomon Derese from the University of Nairobi.
Initially, over 2,000 students from universities across Europe and Africa expressed interest in participating in the course. However, 350 students officially registered and confirmed their participation. On the 3rd day, the Zoom session reached a peak of 160 participants.
