The first training for moderators participating in the second Virtual Exchange iteration for students was carried out on 9 October 2025. In total, 108 participants attended the training online.
During this training, the moderators were introduced to the UnaVEx project, its history, and the vision behind it. As this was the first of three training sessions, extended time was spent on the explanation of the code of conduct and role of the moderators during the exchange, and some practicalities. Aside from this, moderators learned about the stages of groups during groupwork, heard experiences from a moderator from the previous iteration, and carried out a spirit animal test linked to groupwork.

As a Moderator you will:

- Facilitate active and fair discussion forums for all participants
- Learn about the Introduction to sustainability MOOC
The second training for Moderators will take place on 16 October 2025, from 15:00-17:00 Helsinki Time. The focus of this training will be on the sustainability action task and how moderators can support their students in this.
