Call for Moderators is open – opportunity for work, training and credits!

Are you passionate about fostering international connections between Europe and Africa and facilitating meaningful discussions? Are you eager to take on a leadership role in sustainability within a dynamic online community? If so, join our team of moderators for the UnaVEx virtual exchange! You can join either 1 or both fall 2026 iterations of the UnaVEx. The courses will have the same contents, please choose the timings that suit you better: VE4 or VE5. 

Attending the training + 1 exchange is worth 3 ECTS, training + 2 exchanges is 4 ECTS.

 Virtual Exchange Week (VE4)in November 2026: Tue 10 Nov., Thu 12 Nov., Tue 17.Nov., Wed 18 Nov. & Thu 19 Nov.

 Virtual Exchange Week (VE5)  in November-December: Tue 24. Nov., Wed 25. Nov., Thu 26 Nov., Tue 1 Dec, Thu 2 Dec

The virtual exchange lectures take place in the afternoons, at 15-18 East European Time EET

As a UnaVEx moderator you play a central role in creating an engaging environment for students worldwide. You host interactive Zoom sessions, facilitate interdisciplinary discussions in sustainability topics, and inspire active participation. You gain valuable skills in communication and leadership through comprehensive training. Moderator Training Schedule: Tue 20 Oct., Tue 27 Oct. & Tue 3 Nov. 2026 at 15-17 EET

As a Moderator you will:

  • Gain experience on remote facilitation and education
  • Participate in Moderators’ training @Digicampus online platform
  • Facilitate active and fair discussion forums for all participants
  • Learn about the Introduction to sustainability MOOC 

The skills expected from the moderators are:

  • English proficiency 
  • Comfortable in leading group discussion and interacting online 
  • Open-minded and motivated about multicultural online exchange
  • Interest in sustainability topics
