The first training for moderators participating in the fourth and fifth Virtual Exchange iterations for students was carried out on 20 October 2026. In total, 61 participants attended the training online.
During this training, the moderators were introduced to the UnaVEx project, its history, and the vision behind it. As this was the first of three training sessions, extended time was spent on the explanation of the code of conduct and the role of the moderators during the exchange, and some practicalities. Aside from this, moderators learned about the stages of groups during groupwork, heard experiences from a moderator from the previous iteration, and carried out a spirit animal test linked to groupwork.

- Learn about the Introduction to Sustainability MOOC
The second training for Moderators will take place on 27 October 2026, from 15:00-17:00 Helsinki Time. The focus of this training will be on the sustainability action task and how moderators can support their students in this.
