Between 26-29 June 2023, 15 artists, scientists and educators gathered together in Melbu, Vesterålen for three days to learn from each other, to work together for a more sustainable world, and to create a toolkit to combine science and art in education. We worked mainly in small groups, which produced a transformation ritual, a song accompanied with a performance, a real physical workbook to initiate dialogues, and discussed the artistic and scientific processes (to find out that they are close to 100% the same). Melbu, the Neptun Art/Science Lab and the breathtakingly beautiful landscape of Vesterålen provide a unique setting for art and science to come together!
