The Future Earth Suomi (FES) will hold the national networking seminar during the Impact Week 2026 on 16 April in the Sofia Cultural Center (Helsinki, Finland).
The seminar brings together sustainability researchers and experts from across Finland. It offers show cases of sustainable sciences relevant activities and networks active at the moment, discusses the needs for wider coordination and structure of the sustainable sciences relevant actors in Finland in the future. We also hope that the event will strengthen knowledge exchange, and supports the participation of Finnish researchers in international networks. The invited speaker is Paula Schönach, Program Director (STN Climate Change and Humans – CLIMATE) at Aalto University. She will present results from the CLIMATE programme and discuss what a climate-wise society of choices could look like.
