During October – December 2026, the REOPEN project (“Next Generation Workforce – Empowering Young People for Improved Employment”; https://centralbaltic.eu/project/reopen; 1 Sep 2026 – 28 Feb 2028) arranges the training programme, free of charge, aimed at young people aged 18–25 with little or no previous work experience. The training is open to students, recent graduates and other young people from any field of study who could benefit from the opportunity to develop their workplace skills.
Participants will develop practical soft, digital, green, artificial intelligence (AI), sustainability and general workplace skills through an English-language online training programme consisting of three one-week modules in autumn 2026. Participants, who successfully completed 3 educational Modules, will receive a certificate and earn 3 ECTS credits in total.
Autumn 2026 online educational Modules:
- Soft Skills and Competences: 12–16 October 2026
- Digital and Green Skills: 2–6 November 2026
- Practical AI Skills for Smart Internships: 23–27 November 2026
Who can apply?
- Young people aged 18 to 25,
- Young people with little or no work experience,
- Young people with English language skills,
- Young people living in Latvia, Estonia, and Finland.

The REOPEN training programme is organised in cooperation with the University of Latvia, University of Helsinki, Estonian Business School and the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and it is funded by the EU through the Interreg Central Baltic programme.
