Project Description

The 4th International Forum on Big Data for Sustainable Development Goals (FBAS 2024; scheduled to take place during 6-8 September 2024 (Beijing, China). This event will be hosted by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and organized by the International Research Center of Big Data for Sustainable Development Goals (CBAS), in collaboration with the Aerospace Information Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

The FBAS has established itself as a premier international gathering, drawing thousands of participants from approximately 80 countries and regions since its inception in 2021. With a focus on sharing knowledge and fostering innovative data-driven solutions for sustainable development, FBAS has garnered widespread acclaim. Building upon this success, FBAS-2024 will continue to advance the dialogue on leveraging big data to accelerate the realization of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Under the theme “Next 7 years: Big Data Driving Transformative Actions to Achieve SDGs,” the forum will explore various topics, including the role of digital technology in advancing global sustainable development, fostering global partnerships for scientific and technological innovation, and promoting youth-driven scientific endeavours. It will serve as a multidisciplinary platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and collaboration aimed at harnessing the power of big data and digital technology to support the implementation of SDGs.

We are currently accepting session proposals and abstract submissions from around the world on topics related to big data technology for global sustainable development, policies and digital industry for regional sustainability, global partnership development for SDGs, and youth-driven innovation.
