Project Description

The Interreg Baltic Sea Region 2021-2027 Programme (see/ download summary) offers “funding to public and private players around the Baltic Sea who want to shape the region with their smart ideas”. The programme has four Priorities: (1) Innovative societies, (2) Water-smart societies, (3) Climate-neutral societies, and (4) Cooperation governance.

Small steps for a big change.
Small projects focus: easier access, building trust, keeping networks, staying closer to citizens, responding to unpredictable challenges (duration – up to 24 months, with up to 500 KEuros budget).

Timeline in 2022:
8 Feb – official launch of the Call
9 Mar – deadline for submitting Project Idea Forms
16 Mar – deadline for consultations & deadline for requesting access to BAMOS+
30 Mar – deadline for submitting applications

Summer/Autumn – selection of applications by the Monitoring Committee.

Core changes for the Interreg Baltic Sea Region.
Core projects focus: practical and durable outputs, solutions to challenges, focus on piloting, at the core of the Programme (duration – up to 36 months, with no limitation (proportionate to activities) for budget).

15 Mar – deadline for submitting Project Idea Forms
12 Apr – deadline for consultations & deadline for requesting access to BAMOS+
26 Apr – deadline for submitting applications

Autumn – selection of applications by the Monitoring Committee.
