Project Description
The Institute for Atmospheric and Earth System Research (INAR) of the University of Helsinki (UH) will organize Winter School on Advanced Analysis of Atmosphere-Surface Interactions and Feedbacks. The school will take place during 3-14 March 2025. This school is organized at the Hyytiälä Forest Station, Finland (https://www.helsinki.fi/en/research-stations/hyytiala-forest-station).
The course is aimed for early-stage doctoral students as well as advanced master students in the atmospheric, biospheric and Earth system sciences. The main theme of the course is diurnal cycles in atmosphere-ecosystem processes: interannual and seasonal variation in different environments. The course is implemented by working in small groups using programming tools (Matlab, Python, R) for statistical analyses and data visualization. Short introductory lectures on relevant topics will be given during the course.
See announcement for further information and application.
