PEEX in-situ observation network
PEEX aims to have a special observational program on the land - atmosphere interactions in areas starting from North Europe, across Siberian region to China. The preliminary set of PEEX stations will be selected and expanded in 2017. At the moment we are collecting metadata information of the atmospheric, hydrological and/or ecosystem field stations across PEEX geographical domain. The PEEX metadata enquiry is part of the PEEX observation network planning. The aims of collecting metadata information are
- to select & categorize the stations located in Russia & China for the “PEEX network”
- to collect metadata information for building a PEEX network in coherence with the European activities (ICOS, ACTRIS, LTER, INTERACT; ANAEE etc.) & GEOSS
- to collect information on the existing data pools for data access
