The CLUVEX project recently released 3 deliverables related to the outcomes of the 1st VE Week for students (Del 2.5 and Del 4.1), which took place in Oct 2024, and the materials used in trainings for moderators (Del 3.1), which took place in May and Sep 2024.
Del 2.5 “e-Living Annex to VEG (Virtual Exchange Guidebook)”. The document includes information about the information about the 1) CLUVEX Trainings for moderators (observations and suggestions for improvements); and 2) Overall Feedback from 1st VE Week (Moderators’ and Students’ feedback in details; Suggestions for the development of training; Advertising and promoting the VE Weeks for students; Feedback on breakout room activities and session structure during VE Weeks; Feedback and interest in moderating future VEs; Climate Horizon exercises – Individual and Collective).
Del 3.1 “Set of Online Tutorials: Recordings for CLUVEX trainings & course modules”. The document includes information about the 1) CLUVEX Moderators’ Trainings in total 5 (CLUVEX concept and technical skills; Climate University MOOCs; Soft skills; CLUVEX handbooks and materials; and CLUVEX Climate Horizon exercise and tools for climate data); 2) Lectures on climate related topics, in total 8 (Navigating Planetary Boundaries: Our Blueprint for a Sustainable Future; Climate Change, Disasters, Carbon-neutrality and UN Sustainable Development Goals; Climate Change Impact on Water Resources; Nature Hazards – Floods; Impacts of Climate Change and Future Outlook; Climate Change, Mitigation and Adaptation Strategies; Artistic Research and Critical Thinking at Intersection of Art, Science and Society; and Towards Sustainable Futures: Pedagogy of Concrete Utopias); 3) Tools for climate related data visualisation and analysis in total 3 (Past Climate Explorer, PCE; Shared Socioeconomic Pathways, SSP); Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Atlas; and Additional tools; 4) CLUVEX Guidebooks in total 3 (Virtual Exchange Guidebook, VEG; Climate Literacy Guidebook, CLG; and Climate Messenger Code of Conduct, CMC).
Del 4.1 “Initial Test of the Climate University’s Pilot Course”. The document includes information about the Call distribution for the 1st VE Week (14-18 October 2024); VE Week day-by-day program for students; Piloting of the VE Week program: summary; Preliminary analysis of the Pilot; Students’ feedback and Moderators’ feedback; as well as Annex 1 on VE Week Participants (1st day, zoom-snapshots) and Annex 2 on Collaborative Climate Horizon exercises by groups.
