The 2nd training for moderators participating in the 2nd Virtual Exchange Week (VE Week; 12-16 My 2025) for students was carried out on 9 April 2025. In total, about 40 persons attended online the training.
During this training, at first, an overview of the “Climate Horizon” group exercise with instructions for implementing the Personal/ Individual and Collaborative/ Common exercises and examples of exercises, materials (guidebooks, videos and slides of lectures, tools for working with climate related data) available in the DigiCampus (e-educational platform) area for moderators, daily assignments from Monday till Friday, day-by-day programme of the Virtual Exchange (VE) Week for students, guiding questions from lectures (lists of questions to support the group discussion & extra questions to test what you have learned) were presented. At second, working as the moderator in Zoom, breakout rooms with basic features (video-camera, microphone (as host also mute/stop for others), gestures (raise/lower hand for questions, etc.), chat, screen sharing (start/stop participant’s share), moving to another room), additional guides were presented too.
These were followed by questions from the participants and answers from the CLUVEX University Helsinki team members.
The 3rd next training “Moderators-Get-Together” will take place online on 30 April 2025, at 14:30 pm of Helsinki time. The focus of the training will be on discussing in more details on how the groups are divided, practical testing Zoom break-out-rooms, questions from moderators and answers, etc.
