Climate University annual meeting Play to Learn in Lappeenranta
The annual meeting of Climate University took place 4-5 of November in Lappeenranta at LUT university. The meeting gathered around 50 people interested in gamification of sustainability education to listen to keynotes and familiarize with the different possibilities of gamification in sustainability education. Participants got to try out different games such as Climate Fresk and Energy challenges.

PlanetaryHealth.now was launched
The new PlanetaryHealth.now course was launched on 4.11.2025 at the Climate University annual meeting in Lappeenranta. The course is now available as a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) and the material is also available on the DigiCampus platform. We congratulate Samuel Sandboge on the launch of his course.

CLUVEX of autumn 2025
CLUVEX virtual exchange was organised for the third time in October 2025. A total of 140 students completed the course. The next CLUVEX virtual exchange will be organised 23-27 February 2026. The call for students and moderators is open.

COP30 in Belém
The United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30) was held in Belém, Brazil, November 10–21, and CU had representation there on site.
The CU roadmap Education for a 350 ppm world was presented at COP30.
