The inaugural session of the CLUVEX Virtual Exchange moderators’ training commenced on May 8, hosted via Zoom. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 57 individuals eager to contribute to this innovative initiative.
During the first training session (TR1), moderators delved into various essential aspects of the Virtual Exchange paradigm. Participants gained insights into the overarching concept of CLUVEX and were briefed on the meticulously crafted daily agenda for the inaugural virtual exchange week scheduled to unfold from October 14 to 18. The University of Helsinki’s DigiCampus emerged as a central hub, set to host all course materials vital for both moderators and students.
Noteworthy highlights from TR1 included presentations by key figures such as Hanna Lappalainen, shedding light on the CLUVEX project and Virtual Exchange concepts. Alexander Mahura elucidated the program specifics tailored for the upcoming Virtual Exchange Week, while Aleksi Vauhkonen provided invaluable guidance on accessing course materials via DigiCampus. - TR4 – CLUVEX handbooks & materials, scheduled for the beginning of September, featuring Maria Dominguez from the University of Helsinki and Valeriya Ovcharuk from OSENU.
- TR5 – CLUVEX Group Exercise “Climate Utopia,” slated to begin in September, with contributions from Maria Dominguez, Alexander Mahura, Risto Makkonen, Stefan Fronzek, Yvonne Billimore, and Antti Rajala.
