Description of EC flux sites

Sikaneva I (fen)

EC fluxes are measured at Siikaneva fen site in Southern Finland (Siikaneva I). The EC system is located about 3 m above the ground. A three-axis sonic anemometer/thermometer (USA-1, METEK, Germany) is used to measure three wind components and air temperature. CO2 and H2O concentrations are measured by a closed-path gas analyser (LI-7000, LI-COR Biosciences, Lincoln, NE, USA), while the closed-path gas analyser RMT200 (Los Gatos Research, USA) is currently used for measuring CH4 concentration.
