The CLUVEX 2nd Virtual Exchange (VE) Week for students started today on 12th May 2025, and it will continue during the next 5 days from Monday until Friday, 16th May 2025.

During the first day, after Welcome words to participants, and short introductions into the CLUVEX project and the Climate Horizon exercise, a series of lectures will be delivered online. These lectures include: (i) Towards Sustainable Future Utopia, by Antti Rajala, University of Helsinki (UH), Finland; (ii) Climate Change, Disasters, Carbon-neutrality and UN Sustainable Development Goals by Alexander Baklanov, Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen (UCPH), Denmark; (iii) Сlimate Change Impact on Water Resources by Olga Shevchenko & Sergiy Snizhko, T.Schevchenko National University of Kyiv (TSNUK), Ukraine; (iv) Nature Hazards – Floods by Valeriya Ovcharuk, Mechnikov Odessa National University (ONU), Ukraine; (v) Climate Change, Mitigation and Adaptation Strategies by Hasmik Movsesyan, Yerevan State University (YSU), Armenia; and (vi) Artistic Research and Critical Thinking at the Intersection of Art, Science and Society by Yvonne Billimore, Bioart Society, Finland.
After all lectures delivered, all online participants (so far more than 500 students registered in the DigiCampus and more than 300 of students confirmed their participation) of the 2nd VE Week will be working online in zoom-break-out-rooms (each such group will include 1 moderator and up to 10 students). At start in each group a round table introduction of participants will take place, followed by discussions on: what can we learn from each other? and initial steps in developing Personal/Individual and Collaborative/Joint Climate Horizon exercise.
