The CLUVEX project monthly online meeting took place on 26 August 2024. All CLUVEX Partners representatives (14 persons in total) attended the meeting, including the members of the Student Advisory Board. This meeting followed up the outcomes of the previous monthly meeting in June 2024. As usually, it included also reporting by WP leaders about project activities, tasks, deliverables and milestones, followed by questions, remarks and discussions.
A sumup was shared by the coordinator about joint onsite (in Helsinki) meeting of the Erasmus+ CLUVEX and ClimEd projects, which took place on 26-28 June 2024. Update about all WPs status/ progress was shared by WP leaders. Drafted questionaries for moderators’ and students’ expectations and feedback were demonstrated and discussed. The texts of Calls-for-Moderators and Calls-for-VE-Week for students as well as instructions were also discussed. During August-September the Call for VEs for students will be distributed and promoted through CLUVEX Partners/ Universities networks and social media (such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram). The recruitment of new moderators, interested in participating in the VE Weeks for students, will be continued.
The 4th online training for moderators about the guidebooks on Virtual Exchanges (VEG), Climate Literacy (CLG), and Climate Messenger Code of Conduct (CMC) and other materials is scheduled on 5th September. The 5th online training about the group exercise “Climate Horizon”, and tools (ERA-5 Explorer, IPCC web-based atlas, ) to visualise and analyse climate related data is scheduled on 12th September 2024. Moreover, on 27 September, the “get-moderators-together” zoom-meeting for moderators will be arranged to make final checking and questions vs. answers, to make tests with Zoom breakout rooms, and to make sure that there are enough moderators onboard.
The deadline for mid-term reporting is also approaching and it is expected by end of December 2024. The success of the project will be evaluated based on “number of students” participated in VE Weeks and “number of moderators” prepared and participated in VE Weeks.
The next online monthly meeting is scheduled on 20 September 2024.
